Quick answer: To split a PDF, add it here and choose page ranges or equal chunks (every 1 page gives single pages), then download the parts, or all of them as one ZIP. Pages are copied without conversion, so quality is unchanged, and the file stays on your device.
Divide one PDF into several: by the page ranges you type, or into equal chunks. The splitting happens in your browser, so your document stays on your device.

How to split PDF
- Choose the PDF you want to split.
- Pick “By page ranges” and type ranges such as 1-3, 4-10, 11-, or pick “Every N pages”.
- Press Split PDF.
- Download the files one by one or all together as a ZIP, or send them with a link.
Two ways to split
By page ranges gives you one PDF per range. Type the ranges separated by commas: 1-3, 4-10, 11- produces three files, the last one running from page 11 to the end. Ranges may overlap or repeat a page if you need the same page in two files, and a backwards range such as 10-8 keeps those pages in reverse order.
Every N pages chops the document into equal parts. Set it to 1 for a separate PDF per page, 2 for pairs of pages (handy for two-page forms scanned in one go), or any other number. The last file simply holds whatever pages are left.
When splitting helps
- A scan of many documents: the office scanner produced one long PDF with invoices, receipts and letters. Split it into one file per document before filing them.
- Chapters of a report or a book, so each person gets only the section they need.
- Upload limits on portals that reject large PDFs. Smaller parts often get through.
- Statements and payslips where a year of pages arrives as one file.
Want to keep only a few pages in one new file instead of several files? Use Extract pages. To throw pages away, use Delete pages.
Nothing leaves your device
The split is done by your browser with an open-source PDF library. Pages are copied without being re-rendered, so text stays sharp and searchable and file sizes stay small. The original file is not changed and is never uploaded.
File names show which pages each part holds, for example report-pages-04-10.pdf, so they sort correctly in any folder.

Frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into single pages?
Choose “Every N pages” and set it to 1. There is also a dedicated page for this: Split PDF into single pages.
Can I get all the split files at once?
Yes. Download all saves one ZIP with every part. You can also send all parts in one transfer with Send with a link.
Will splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, not converted to images, so text and pictures look exactly like the original.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Splitting happens on your device. The file only leaves it if you choose to send the result.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Documents with thousands of pages work on a computer; phones may be slower with very large files.
Need to send a big file?
Send files up to 20 GB with a download link or by email. Free, no account needed, original quality.
