  1. Choose the PDF.

Rotation that sticks

Rotating a page in a PDF viewer usually only changes your view; open the file again, or send it to someone else, and it is sideways once more. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so the pages open the right way up everywhere: on phones, in email previews and when printed.

The page content is not re-drawn or compressed. Only the page's rotation setting changes, so text stays selectable and the file size stays the same.

All pages, some pages or one page

  • All pages for a document that was scanned the wrong way round.
  • Odd or even pages for double-sided scans where every back page came out upside down.
  • Pages I pick for the odd landscape table in a portrait report: tap the rotate button under the page until the preview looks right.

The previews show the result before you save. To also change the order of pages or remove some, use Organize PDF, which rotates too.

No upload needed

The PDF is opened and saved by your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, which keeps it quick even for large scans and keeps private documents private.

Frequently asked questions

Will rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Only the page orientation setting changes; the content is not re-rendered or compressed.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Choose “Pages I pick” or simply tap the rotate button under that page, then save.

Is the rotation permanent?

Yes. It is saved in the new PDF, so the pages open the right way up in any app.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser.
