# Watermark Photos in a Batch

Put your name, website or logo on a whole set of photos in one go, in the same place and at the same relative size on each. Preview it on the first photo before you start.

## How to use it

1. Choose or drop your photos, as many as you like.
2. Type the text or choose your logo, then set position, size and opacity.
3. Check the preview of the first photo.
4. Press Add watermark, then download them all as a ZIP or send them with a link.

## The same look on every photo

The watermark's size is a share of each photo's width, and its distance from the edge a share of the photo too. A portrait from a phone and a wide landscape from a camera therefore get a watermark that looks the same, instead of one that is huge on small photos and tiny on large ones.

## Visible but not in the way

- **Corner mark** (bottom right, 60 to 80% opacity) for portfolios and client previews.
- **Repeated across the image** at low opacity for proofs you send before payment: hard to crop out.
- **Centre, tilted** for “SAMPLE” or “DRAFT” marks.

The soft shadow keeps white text readable on bright skies and dark text on shadows. A logo works best as a PNG with a transparent background.

## Originals stay yours

Watermarked copies are new files; your originals are untouched. Photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded, which is the point when the reason for a watermark is protecting your work. Send the finished set to a client with a link, [free up to 20 GB](https://sharelargefilesfree.com/). For a single photo with free-form text, [Add text to image](https://sharelargefilesfree.com/tools/add-text-to-image) gives you more control; for PDFs use [Watermark PDF](https://sharelargefilesfree.com/tools/watermark-pdf).

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Add all of them; each gets the same watermark, sized to that photo.

### Can I use my logo?

Yes. Choose Logo image and pick a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Transparent PNGs look best.

### Will the quality of my photos drop?

JPGs are saved at 92% quality by default, which looks the same as the original. PNGs stay lossless.

### Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is added on your device.

### Can a watermark be removed by others?

A corner mark can be cropped off. A repeated watermark across the image is much harder to remove.
