## How to use it

1. Choose or drop two or more images.
2. Drag them into order.
3. Pick Side by side, One above the other or Grid, and set the spacing and background.
4. Press Merge images and download or send the result.

## Three layouts

- **Side by side**: every image is scaled to the same height, perfect for before and after or comparing products.
- **One above the other**: every image is scaled to the same width, for joining screenshots of a long conversation, receipt or web page into one tall image.
- **Grid**: equal cells in as many columns as you choose, either filled (edges cropped) or with each whole photo shown.

## Sizes that stay sharp

Images are never enlarged beyond the smallest one in the row or column, so nothing turns blurry. The finished image is capped at the size you choose (2048 pixels for messaging, 4096 by default, 8000 for print) to keep files manageable and within what phones can handle. Save as JPG for photos or PNG for screenshots with text.

## Merging PDFs or making a PDF?

To combine documents rather than pictures, use [Merge PDF](https://sharelargefilesfree.com/tools/merge-pdf). To turn several photos into a multi-page PDF, one per page, use [JPG to PDF](https://sharelargefilesfree.com/tools/jpg-to-pdf). All of them run in your browser; your images are not uploaded.
